SMALL SUKOSHI SEAGRASS LIDDED BASKET WHITE

Another best seller for ALSO Home, the Sukoshi design originally came in black and natural. Now with the new white and natural colourway you can chose a style to suit your own style at home or pair together for that mix and match style. Made by hand, we have even seen these used cleverly as an indoor plant pot (being made of natural materials you of course you will need to put a dish inside to catch the water!).

Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented crafts men and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass exclusively for us by Artisans in Vietnam and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour. Being hand made, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
