Handmade from natural seagrass this wonderful storage or blanket box is incredibly versatile. Fabulous in a hallway to hide away shoes and bags, at the end of a bed to store blankets and cushions or on a shelf for general organising. Designed to coordinate perfectly with the Hetta storage baskets, 2 of these baskets fit inside this new Tana Blanket box.
Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented crafts men and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass exclusively for us by Artisans in Vietnam and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour. Being hand made, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
